Travel Tag

The lovely travel blogger Iga Berry started this Travel Tag! Head over to her blog for great travel tips, inspiration and to enter her giveaway until the 15th September!

You are leaving tomorrow to start a life in a new country, where would you go?
My answer to this questions changes daily and I'd like to live in lot's of places but for now maybe Hong Kong. This is where my parents lived for a while and where I was born. On a visit there in 2015 I was so surprised by the diversity of the landscape so I'd love to experience living and working here.

You can take someone away with you for a weekend to the place where you had the best holiday ever, where would you go and who would you take to go with you?
I would love to go back to Japan and explore more places and I'd definitely take my Mum with me because she's a great travel buddy and I know she'd love the nature there. Also I could show her around a little for a change, hehe.

You can get married wherever you want, your budget is limitless, what is your choice?
For this the country doesn't even matter much to me. I'd like to have an outdoor wedding with view of some hills and near a lake ... So maybe sweden? Yes, I can see myself riding down the aisle on an elk.

During your travels you can bring back home one animal as a pet, which one would you pick?
My Mum used to have an accidental pet-gecko. He just lived in her hut and ate all the flies and spiders. I think geckos are super cute. Alternatively any kind of lizard.

You can get back in time and relive one family trip, which one?
The trip to Kenya with my Dad and Grandma was phenomenal and one I'd love to relive again (for various reasons about which you can read here).

What is the first thing you would pack for a one year travel around the world?
Apart from obvious things like phone and clothes my sheet-sleeping-bag came in really handy while backpacking in my gap year. When you're staying in places that aren't exactly clean (or where you're in constant fear of creepy-crawlies) it's great to have a sheet of your own fabric to wrap around you.

What would your fantasy 100th birthday destination be, and why?

On top of a mountain just to show myself and the world that I've still got it in me, oh yeah.

During your travel you can learn one sport to become a pro, what would that be?

In Japan I had a short taste of SUP boarding (Stand-up Boarding) and that was a lot of fun and it would be a cool way to explore rivers and lakes - and think of all the cool Instagram stories you could have!

I'd like to see Charlie, Eboni, Emma, Vegas Girl and Annie answer these questions :)
